Hello, my radiant beings of balance and welcome to the Crown finale of Live the Livey Way, the energy map. I'm your host, Dr. Sunshine, your doctor of acupuncture, herbalist, energy nerd, and full-time believer that your body is smarter than any app you will ever download over the last five episodes. We have traveled through the five elements of traditional Chinese medicine, TCM, wood Fire, earth, metal, and Water, exploring how these ancient fours have shape your health, do shape your emotions, and also your personality. And now, well, it's time to bring them all together. To understand how your personal energy map flows and how it sometimes, well, it tangles, and most importantly, how to keep you alive in radiant harmony because Well, what? Because healing. Healing isn't about fixing the parts, what I'm always saying, right? Remembering you are already whole. So let's take a deep breath and walk through the garden of your inner elements one more time. Let's start with wood. The energy of growth and movement belonging to the. Exactly. You listened the first time. Liver and gallbladder. Your visionaries, your planners, and your decision makers when they are balanced well, you are creative, you are flexible, and you are motivated. But when your word is stuck, oh well, you are frustrated, angry, you're tense, like, don't talk to me until I have stretched energy. Exactly right. The angry liver. Let's go to the fire. The energy of joy on connection. The heart and small intestine belonging to the fire element. What is your warmth, your laughter, and your empathy? When everything is balanced there, well, you are joyful. You are loving, you are charismatic. When over fired. Oh, well then you are anxious. You're scattered or burned out. Sounds familiar? Mm-hmm. Let's go and move on to our lovely earth. The energy of nourishment and stability. Belonging to who listened to the episode before. Exactly. Your spleen and stomach. What is your center? Your digestion and your care. When balanced, you are grounded. You are kind you. You're focused. Well, when your earth element is off, overthinking, worry. Oh well, and then sugar is the substitute for love. Let's move on to our next element, which is metal. The energy of boundaries and letting go belonging to the lungs and large intestine means your breath, your space. And your ability to release when balanced. Oh, you feel clear, confident, you're grateful, but when stagnant, oh, well, grieve perfectionism, taking over, or you're holding on to shirts that no longer fit. And well, last but not least, we have our water element, the energy of wisdom and flow belonging to the lovely kidney and bladder. What is your courage, stillness, and deep preserves. When balanced well, you are calm, you are resilient and fearless. Well depleted, not so much. Then anxiety, exhaustion, fear, or I'm running on Fme syndrome. These elements don't compete. They are all cooperating. They are your inner ecosystem. Each one is feeding, balancing, and regulating the next. And here's where the magic well and the science. Our meeting in traditional Chinese medicine, TCM, the elements interact through two main cycles called the creation cycle. And the controlled cycle. The creation cycle is like a parent child flow. The wood nourish the fire. The fire nourish Earth. Earth, nourish metal. Metal, nourish the water, and water nourish the word right? So what gives birth to fire? You know, vision sparks joy. The fire creates earth, ashes become nourishment. Earth produces metal like the minerals and the structures in that way, and then metal condenses water. So we have the do to condensation and the wisdom, and then again, well, your water nourish the wood, the seeds grow, and again. That's the cycle. This is the natural rhythm of health. The energy is flowing in a cycle of creation, but then there comes life, there comes stress, there comes trauma, an imbalance hits. And the control cycle kicks in. Wow. Not so great, but very normal, especially in our Western world. So the checks and balance of your body's ecosystem are completely bum. So wood shoots right on Controled Earth. And what does it do? The stress upsets your digestion. Think about it. You get bad news, you are completely stressed out, so you are. Having right in your stomach a pit, or you run to the bathroom, or you can't go to the bathroom, right? The earth controls the water, so the worry is draining your willpower, and then water controls the fire. So fear dampens your joy, right? You can't be in fear and the same time happy and fire controls your metal. So the emotions weaken your boundaries. If you are right, you know, you are like emotional, you are like, oh, whatever. Go away. And you just do not put your foot down. And the metal, oh, it controls the wood. Rigid blocks, creativity. If the word. Think of like the tree in the wind or the bamboo in the wind, just not bending and moving. You are not flexible. You're rigid. Yeah, you can't have any spark and great ideas and well, let's get your movement blocked. So neither cycle is good or bad. Okay? That's just a feedback system. So when one element goes rogue, another steps into restore the balance. And that's a whole other cycle that my friends is science of flow. So here is where East meets West imperfect harmony. Neuroscience now shows that your brain and body communicates through rhythm, the heart rate, breath, hormone cycles, circadian rhythms, all affiliate like nature's tides. Disconnection from these rhythms through chronic stress screens and sleeplessness. Oh, well, it creates chaos in both in QI and neurotransmitters. So your mind body connection equals the QI regulation. What TCM calls moving CHI science calls us. Homeostasis and neural coherence, acupuncture, meditation, breath work, and gratitude all increases your vagal tone, your ability to regulate emotion, and restore the balance. That's why I'm preaching this over and over. I know you get annoyed of it. But I just love you all so much. I want you all to live a beautiful, balanced life, live in harmony. So then neuroplasticity equals the wood elements growth. Your brain can rewire itself through consistent practice just as spring renews after winter, then the heart coherence, eagles, the fire element of joy, love, laughter, and compassion. Literally change your electromagnetic field. Well in the gut microbiomes. That's equals the earth element of the digestion. Happy belly means a balanced mood and mental clarity. The science of gut feeling, sounds familiar, hurt before well. And then we have the lung capacity, the metal element, breath of life. Deep breathing increases nitric oxide, improving oxygen and focus. Exhale to declutter the mind. You heard that me saying before as well, right? My aand repair and sleep. Well, that's the water element's essence. Rest isn't laziness. It's molecular regular generation. Even your cells, well, they meditate at night. So, yes, science and spirit. They are not rivals. They're just using different words to describe, no, the same miracle. Alright, my radiant chemist, let's turn this wisdom into action. All it. Listen to your seasons. Spring word means stretch. Plan, plant seeds. In the summer, your fire connect, celebrate and laugh. Late summer means the earth, right? Nourish, organize, and simplify. We have autumn, fall, what belongs to metal. We release, we breathe, we declutter. And we have our winter. What is the water? What are we doing there? We rest and we reflect and we dream. Notice your elemental personality. Are you a visionary wood, a passionate fire, a nurturing earth, a refined metal, or more wise water? We all have them all. All elements are a part of us, but one or two tend to lead your personal show. And then there's like, hmm, the balance of opposites. If you are feary and anxious, well, what are we doing? We cool down. Eat a cucumber. If you are watery and redrawn, add movement. Do some exercises. If you are earthy and overthinking, well lighten up. Do something. What makes you full of joy and balance doesn't mean equality. It means harmony. And then move your Q daily. Walk, breathe, dance, tap, stretch love. Because stagnation is the only real villain in traditional Chinese medicine. And in. Real life and practice. A little emotional awareness. Every emotion has an organ home, right? We land out, we talked about it. So if you are feeling a little angry, you know you have, uh, angry liver here in the game show. If you are full of joy, your heart is wide open. If you worry, you are draining your spleen. And grieve belongs to your lungs. Think about your sobbing. What is th doing? The lungs are and fear belongs to your kidneys. Honor your emotions as a message, not a mistakes. So sometimes we can't analyze or think, well, why am I today more like this or that? And you, maybe one of your systems is out of balance. Feel them, flow through them and let them teach you your balance, your out of balance, and now you have some wisdom to maybe get back into. All right, nourish your foundation really with food, with rest, with love, with sunlight, with laughter. If you are not having enough energy for a laughter, just smile. Pretended fake it until you make it. This is your ultimate medicine. So yes, you are not a random collection of organs and moods. You are a living ecosystem, a symphony, a wood, a fire of earth, of metal and water, and they're all dancing together to create you. And when one element is out of line, you don't need to punish it. You just need to, well listen. Your body isn't your enemy. Uhuh, it's your teacher. And harmony doesn't mean perfection. Nobody is perfect. It just means flow. It means trusting your seasons. It means knowing that even when life feels chaotic, balance is always one breath away. Just as ta CH says, when nothing is forced, nothing is left undone. So take a deep breath, exhale when it's gone and smile because you are energy in motion and you are light. It's the rhythm the world needs.
